[Those in Ahiru's family as well as most of her close neighbors should be very aware of the fact that at 4 PM on Thanksgiving, she found herself in the kitchen suddenly much like everyone else

I-I can't get out of the k-kitchen or dining room and there's a... Somebody must have...

[She lets out a few more small sobs.]

Yes. It seems we're all trapped in our own kitchens. Is that what you're so upset over, or is there something else?

Everyone is? I-Is there a bird in your house, too?

[eldest_hatter]

Yes. A turkey.

[whatthequack]

It's a turkey, then?

[She knew it was too big to be a duck, but she guessed that was about the right size for one that had been cooked. She whimpers a bit.]

Th-those poor birds...

Are you a vegetarian dear?

Uhhh...

[Well, as a bird she had eaten insects and various sea life from time to time. She didn't have much of a problem eating fish either. But when it came down to it...]

P-pretty much, yeah.

I see. Well, I don't think you have to eat the turkey. Eat something else on the table.

But how can I eat when that's sitting in front of me? I'm not hungry at all.

I don't believe you can leave until you've eaten though.

What?! Oh man. That really sucks...

I'm afraid so.

Though compared to some things that have happened here, this is quite tame.
