mm, so I have things to do and all, but my default reaction when faced with a whole bunch of stuff at one time is to avoid doing any of it at all. Hence my writing another journal, though this one will be rather pointless.
What am I avoiding, you ask?
Why, posting of course. Hah. I don't know why I bother, sometimes, even keeping up with (or trying to) some many different sites. Of course it was just originally one, but then there was this one site I just had to join, and one on request of a friend and one that looked rather interesting, until before I know it I've got ten different characters on five different sites all needing posts and no muse to spare for any of them. And because I like explaining things, and because doing so will prolong my going back to working on them, I shall explain my current rp haunts.
First and foremost there's Ashes to Ashes, which is a one-on-one twilight role play I started up with
oddestoneout back in september of last year. I need to post for Daemon, Jasper and Carlisle on there.
There's Silent Heart, which is an awesome multi-character, multi-plot twilight rp with awesome people. I believe I'm actually waiting on people to post there.
Then there's Positively Criminal, which is pretty fast-paced Criminal Minds rp, in which I play Hotch and need to post in quite a few threads. Unfortunately, my muse is disagreeing with me. Ah, well, there's always tomorrow.
There's Kingdoms, which is a pretty neat original rp about a species of winged magicians and humans and their oncoming war. I just posted there today with my nutball Irial, so I'm all caught up there. Though there's an avatar contest going on that I may just join in on.
And the most recent addition to my battalion of RP hangouts, Crave They Neighbor, a True Blood Rp which is owned by an awesome online friend from Silent Heart. I took Godric on there just hours before the premire of 2x09 "I Will Rise Up", which we talked all about last Sunday. I still haven't gotten around to writing his bio. (which, actually, is what I'm stalling on doing right now as I type this.) it's just that physical descriptions and I don't mesh all that well. I hate writing descriptions of characters, for whatever reason. And yet I love writing personalities and personal back stories.
Go figure.
Oh, and aside from all the fun stuff I'm avoiding, I've got another two hundred and twenty one pages of Moby Dick to read and answer study questions for by Thursday, at the latest. Not to mention a paper to write on it. And AP Go'Po homework.
Er. Have I mentioned that when faced with a ton of work I flake out and procrastinate? Heheh..
But I should be getting Living Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris, sometime tomorrow. That should cheer me up some. (though I'm currently actively reading five other books at the moment. CH's books are quick reads.) Oh, and True Blood is on tomorrow. I wonder how that'll be. I really hope they don't just completely neglect to mention Godric at all after this. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Eric destroy his hotel room or something of the sort. Seems like something he would do. Guess we'll find out.
