This is just my opinion. It just pissed me off.
If you're going to have a conversation about religion, it should NEVER be a debate. One should not try to PERSUADE the other to believe in certain religious statements or beliefs.
If you are going to publicly defend Christianity on the steps of the UT Tower, do it in a discussion format. I am a Christian and am thoroughly rooted in whatever I believe in, but it was infuriating how the professor handled the questions.
(He also didn't fight fairly. We learned in my CMS class how to avoid answering uncomfortable questions, and he should be a politician.)
I respect him for having the conviction and thorough knowledge to publicly answer a wide variety of questions concerning his religion, but I don't respect the way that he did it.
Don't debate religion.
