Everyone is coming to East Lansing Saturday night, RIGHT?! You're all coming to my apt and we're all going to have a good time. Because I said so. If you have a problem with that then it's possible that I didn't want you here in the first place.
Just kidding, I love you all and this thing isn't about me it's about Jolie. It's her damn birthday party and she wants people to come! Even if you've never met her and only know me! :D
Who can resist jello shots and beer on a Saturday night? Nobody!
I've been ranting to myself all morning about just how ridiculous I think St Paddy's Day is. I planned to discuss it here but now I'm just tired and I will summarize it. I think I'm just bitter because I had to cover someone's shift yesterday and couldn't go out. Buut seriously, I'm not Irish. German and British to be exact. I can skip class any day I want and get wasted, and put any color dye I want in my beer any time I want. I will also consume corned beef and cabbage whenever I please because it is delicious. That said, the day is just of little significance to me. Come next year I'll [hopefully] have a career anyway and employers usually frown upon cutting work to get wasted all day, so why should I make a big deal out of something I could only do if I were unemployed or in school?
Egh. I do what I want.
I have to go to work for the millionth day in a row.
EDIT:
I just read an article about the authorities taking Scott Peterson to his cell and about these women who want to marry him. That's just wrong...it is beside the point of this entry addition though.
When I read things about other people I like to put myself in their shoes through the things they say or do. It's nice, like having the chance to experience it without living it. All I really wanted to say is just how shitty it has got to be to have to live in a room all by yourself for the rest of your life and to have to choose the way you die no matter how much you deserve it. It puts things into perspective...I don't think I'll be breaking any major laws any time soon.
