Today I went to The Painting of Modern Life, an exhibition at the Hayward Gallery. It was very good (apart from the manky Daivd Hockney paintings...), if somewhat dry, and I urge you all to go and see it. It was all paintings, painted in a photographic style, many of them painted directly from photographs.
Also I have recently been very keen on an artist called Julius Popp (I think that's his name), he is awesome.
