Korn Guitarist Quits And Finds Jesus
23 Feb 2005 Korn guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch has left the nu-metal band to dedicate his life to Jesus.
According to MTV, the band's management have stated that:
"Korn has parted ways with guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch, who has chosen Jesus Christ as his Savior, and will be dedicating his musical pursuits to that end."
A statement from the band reads as follows:
"Korn respects Brian's wishes, and hopes he finds the happiness he's searching for."
A statement from Head reads:
"I'm good friends with Korn. I love those guys, and they love me, and they're very happy for me."
isn't that awesome? I think so! I remember listening to Korn back when I was little and a "banger" as it was called. haha
I'm sad about the break up of Blink182, but i'm thankful that I've seen them in concert before!
I have yet to start on my English paper which was due next Monday. Now it's due next Wednesday. We won with a big debate and craps-like-style tossing of a quarter. I was sitting there before the coin toss, because that's a big gamble for a hard assignment, and I was just like "please God I need it due Wednesday" and God was like YEAH, OKAY! and there was much rejoicing. yessssss. If anyone wants the audio of the big debate and craps-like event, hollar, cos I recorded it. haha. Also, another big thing happened, that I was very thankful for. Well seeing as I had no idea how to write my paper, I was pretty worried going into class today. And then he read us a sample paper, which happened to be on the guy i'm doing and I was just SO happy because now I know what I'm doing kind of, plus it's on tape.
After class I gave him the reprint of the paper I got a 98 on and he said "thanks Whitney! you're the best!" and I was like "omg cool, i'm the best!!!!" haha. He told me that he thought it was really good, and asked if he could show it and I said "yes pleaseeee"
I've been laying in the sun this week and I'm starting to get a tan! YAY
