80s song I think
I heard a song last night (it reminded me a bit of Huey Lewis and the News or maybe Steve Winwood) and the lyrics I can recall from it were something to the effect of:
"Would/won't you take me in/on" or "Won't you..." I'm not completely sure. The rest of the lyrics aren't really enunciated very well. It was sort of cheesy but upbeat, pop rock. I think it was from either very very very late 70s through the 80s. It's driving me crazy. ANY and ALL possible suggestions are more than welcome.
(Also, it wasn't Take On Me.)
