18th Memory [Backdated a bit to early July 4th][Voice/Action]

[Today, Sayo feels sporatic. It happens, honest! Even if it's not... very often...

But at least it happens! Today she's wearing a dress Buffy had given her-a lovely sundress. And even though it's been raining off and on today, it's the warm, welcoming kind that make wearing such an outfit easy and breezy. Fortunately she remembers what rain is today

... Huh, you've never heard of fireworks before? Well, I guess it's possible for there to be worlds without fireworks.. It wouldn't even be that strange.

But yeah, they really exist. They exist in my world, at the very least.

Either way, they're a little like you described them - giant flashes of color in the sky. They're not made through magic though, it's just a sort of technology.

I remember you telling me a little about it last time, so.. yeah, I don't blame you for not knowing this.

I guess that's a way to view it.. Fireworks aren't really good for anything but amusement, though. Just giving off a light show once. You can't do anything else with them.

I think it's possible to make fireworks yourself, as long as you have the appropriate materials.. So yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if they had a firework show here too.

As long as the Malnosso wouldn't mind it, that is.

Oh, I'm sure they wouldn't, if people here enjoy it enough...

Is it really that easy to make fireworks?

I've never done it myself, but I can imagine it's not too hard as long as you know how.. You'd probably need special powders to make it explode and let the colors appear in the sky.

Well, I'll just have to ask all the more savvy people about this... Or maybe I'll ask the Malnosso for some, for a special occasion! They have been known to give things if asked politely...

It wouldn't surprise me if the Malnosso would give out firework that explodes on its own or whatever.. I don't trust them.

I doubt they're particularly trustworthy or kind people.

That's true... Though... I hope there are at least a handful of them who are sympathetic to us. I guess we'll never know until something actually happens.
