....Sayo-san... [he tries to judge her placement by the few bits of background he can see, and adjusts his path accordingly]

Ah-there's a building; I can see the top of it. Do you recognize it, Ginko-san?
[She points her journal toward the distant, almost hidden roof of Community Housing 6, the lens shaking faintly from the cold.]

[She reaches out to the coat, still smiling, because-it's nice to see a familiar face. Not just 'see', but to actually be in front of someone who's not one of them. She breathes a sigh mixed with relief and exhaustion, and draws her hand back.]

I'm fine. Just tired, really; though, it certainly hasn't felt like I've been gone for more than a week...
[Lying, just a little. Time seemed to move slowly there, it felt. Normally, she was used to forgetting so much-time was just one of those things that she usually lost track of.
But not this time.
Perhaps it was fear, motioning the Kagedama to consume less and less over the time she'd been gone.]
But I'm fine.

Oh yes, I could do with something to eat; perhaps I'll stop by the store and get a few things-ah, I hope I didn't forget to put anything in the refrigerator. That would have been such a waste of food...
[The combination of seeing a familiar face and being stuck in icy weather's made her a bit of a rambler.]
