[Rise and shine, Luceti! When you wake up, you may notice your journals have a few pages-worth of... notes? To the Japanese speakers out there, it's in older characters, but of course it'll translate to the English speakers as a garble of:]

sanji
     restaurant
interesting hair color - talked about hair colors
eyebrow
knows ginko,        related??

what a derp, ◘Ami, ◘Ginko, ◘Sanji, ◘Bon Clay, attempt at memorizing -_-, ◘Okita, cut her some slack, ◘Gin, she's from old-school japan

[Oh, if only Sanji had seen those notes.

Sayo actually beats him to the restaurant by a few minutes or so, as the chef has a crew to feed first. But he's quick to notice he's not the only one inside, and ah -- there she is. She hadn't been kidding about being an early riser]

Sayo-saaaan~! What a lovely morning it is~!

[Don't worry, Sanji, the word 'eyebrow' is very neutral! |D]

[She turns and looks at Sanji for a moment-and then smiles, because hey, she definitely remembers that tone of voice.]

Sanji-san, hello! I apologize if I'm a little too early, but I was finished with the day's work faster than I anticipated!

[Huh. She remembers his name. Sanji had been prepared for the worst, too, but hearing that adds another spark to his visibly good mood.]

Awaaah~! I've proved memorable enough in Sayo-san's mind~!

And no no, this is perfect! It'll give me time to show you around. [He pulls off his jacket and scarf - damn weather - then nods in the direction of the kitchen]

This place isn't that big. Just the dining room and the kitchen, really.

[She chuckles and follows along.]

The tables are so much more higher than the ones back home in the tea shop! And not to mention, the eating utensils are... very unique.

[And these salt and pepper shakers are blowing her mind! She must seem a little out of place, observing the chairs and bar in her old-fashioned kimono.]

It really is true. I'm in an entirely different world!

[Daw, but her curiosity is in a word, adorable. Or Sanji certainly thinks so. Very rarely does someone take to the new living arrangements with a cheerful disposition.]

If you've got any questions for me, don't hesitate to ask~!

[When they arrive to the kitchen, he pats one of the counters] This is where I'll set the drinks for you to serve - and we've got a larger variety than just tea.

[Well, no point in being sad when you've got determination and hard work ahead of you! She nods, patting the counter.]

I see! What kinds of other drinks do we have, in Luceti? I should definitely remember what they are, if I'll be serving them!

[Teas and water was so much more limited!]

Would you like to try some?

[It's not just politeness urging him to ask. He wonders if tying a memory to more than one sense will keep it around longer]

One of our popular drinks is something called soda.

I would definitely like to try whatever we have! And if it's popular, I'm certainly interested in knowing what all the fuss is about!

[Then he'll go fetch a bottle of orange soda from one of the fridges reserved for the drinks, and pour some into a glass]

It's uh... kinda hard to explain. But it bubbles in your mouth.

[1.) what an interesting glass and 2.) that soda indeed has bubbles]

...Are you sure that's safe to drink?

[Because last she checked, bubbles are mostly from something being skin-burningly hot.]

[Well, better to show than tell. He pours himself a small glass - he's not a big fan of soda - and takes a sip to prove his point]

Completely safe!

[She carefully takes the glass in hand, and quietly downs some of it.]

Oh...

It's really tasty! [and bubbly!] What's it made out of?

Sugar, water, carbonation... among other things. [Has he lost you with that last one?]

Shit's not that healthy, but it's a nice treat.

[Actually, you lost her at 'sugar', but it's all good!]

I see. Does that mean it's a favorite of the house?

That's right! And there's more than one kind, too. [He puts his glass by the sink]

But besides that, we've got every kind of tea you can imagine, water, alcohol...
