Magic Adventures in England, as depicted by Japanese people pretending to be French animators

(Note: just finished Unwound Future, accidentally spoiled self for Diabolican Box, which is currently lost in my house.)

...So, after Curious Villiage turned to be super popular, did Level 5 go around asking people "hey kids how can we make Layton a better game", and the people of japan and europe all like "NEEDS MORE SAD", huh? Is that what happened? Is that how it went down?

Also, why is it that the sequel tag at the end hints at future adventures, but the new trilogy takes place in the past? Is this going to be some crazy Star Wars deal, except they're not going to get scared out of making a sequal trilogy after their prequel trilogy the way George Lucas was after everyone hated eps 1-3?

Also, when is Flora going to get treated like a first-class sidekick instead of a second-class one? Damnit Layton treat your adopted daughter right and stop abandoning her, you know she has emotional issues from being a towerprincess for god knows how many years.

On a lighter note, Don Paolo's flashback is the best thing better, as is the fact that his real name is "Paul." (Maybe Jean Descole's real name is John?)
