I'm alive!
I'm back! I really have nothing more to say. I did get to look some at the yugioh manga, but I never got a chance to buy it. Which is a shame, because the way the manga presents Duelist Kingdom seems to be at least 10% less stupid than the way the anime does it. Although the whole "let's round up a bunch of kids and ship them off to an island without adult supervision" premise is still pretty damn bizare. Ah well, it's not supposed to make sense. If Yuugiou was logical and grounded, then Looney Tunes would be serious and continuity-heavy, and studios like Ghibli and Pixar would produce nothing but crap.
Also, I now watch Jackie Chan Adventures, for no reason other than because it's absurd and I like absurd things. And the characters, but mostly the absurdness. I mean, there's a pig talisman that gives people the power to shoot heat rays out of their eyes. It's so random it's awesome.
