Oh man, I just watched the first episode. With subs because I am linguistically retarded.
- It went by very, very quickly. I know that the episodes are only 5 minutes long, but wouldn't it be wiser to have a few less storylines per episode, while slowing down the pace so it doesn't go by as quickly as a hummingbird after 15 expressos?
Hopefully, this episode was just meant to show that a variety of timelines would be covered, and in the future episodes will only dedicate themselves to one or two stories at a time.
--Seriously, I could barely read the subtitles in time to know who the heck was speaking.
---Speaking of language barriers, I hope Hetalia doesn't get an official dub. Not just because a liscensed dub would probably induce much wank both within and without the fandom, but because then there would be smaller chance for cracktastic fandubs. Fake accents for everyone! (YOU TOO, AMERICA. )
-Love the litttle bit with Rome. That's probably the most pretty animation in the whole episode.
-The last part of the Chibitalia sequence, where HRE is running after Italy, pleases me. Yessss.
- the ending animation was so dorky and fabulous. Bologna. Boots. RAAAAINBOOOWS. Very Hetalia.
