always wondered about things that go 'bump' in the night. I mean, can't ghosts walk through walls?

So, you all may or may not know, but there's a pretty special celebration coming up in the not-too distant future. It's, like, a very important day to me, so I really gotta plan ahead.

I'm talking about Halloween.

Only one month to go! And there's a whole lot of preparations to do! I mean first of all there's the really big issue: costumes. Toushirou, I saw this adorable little boy in a wookie outfit when I was walking past the playground the other day. I asked his mom where she got it, but I guess you'll have outgrown clothes for ages 8 - 10 by now, right? Still, I figure we can get pretty much the same look with a little fur fabric and some creativity.

I have a dilemma myself. Stick with my usual Malibu Barbie outfit, or try something a little more unique? I was thinking about dressing as Hula Honey Barbie this year, but I'd really need an Aloha Ken.

Besides that, we need to plan what kind of candy to get in, and how much, oh and I'd better find out where they're x-raying trick or treat bags this year. You never know if someone's gonna hide razor blades in their give-outs, and nobody takes kids with blood coming out of their mouths seriously on halloween.

At least I like, totally have the pumpkins all planned out.

So hey, anyway, Apartment People? What's everybody else doing? I figured maybe we could all get together and make some kinda haunted dungeon - the laundry room can be pretty frightening on a good day, and we sure wouldn't need any fake cobwebs. All we'd have to do is peel a few grape eyeballs and maybe get Kankurou to sit with his head inside a silver serving dish or something.

Okay, all we'd really have to do is get Kankurou. He could probably just stand there and it'd work. Anybody got any other ideas?

I love halloween. Best day of the year.

...Oh, also? I guess I kinda turned 27 today. I mean.... 25. Mom took me out to lunch at this really fancy place (even though we coulda eaten at The Chicken Hutch and it woulda been free) and told me I've only got a couple years left before I'm officially an old maid. She suggested Pilgrim Barbie for halloween. We had melon balls as a starter, Toushirou, so I put a bowl of them in my purse. They're a little dusty, but still good.

It's been a pretty okay birthday.
