So I went shoe shopping yesterday - a new job requires new job shoes, right? Also the floor in the break room is that soft corkboard stuff and my heels were leaving little indents everywhere. The new ones I got are higher but narrower so I figure they'll do less damage

While after seeing how you've thwarted Iruka-san and Kuchiki-san my better judgement tells me not to get involved, I will do so anyways.

Think of it this way. When you wear a smaller bra than you should, it doesn't hold you up very well, while if you wear a bra that fits you well holds you up well.

I beleive that is a suitable example.

No... Apply that idea to the heels of the shoes, the actual shoe size doesn't matter.

The smaller the heel, the easier it will press into the ground, the wider the heel, the less it will press into the ground.
