FUCKING ASSES
Much new news.
1) Our housewarming party was off the chain. ~60 people in a 3 bedroom apartment with many socially lubricating substances. Ran till 430 am and everyone went home happy. Many pretty ladies, many awesome dudes. No puke, no fights, no police. Casualties? A bunch of us were sitting on my bed and one of the legs collapsed. Sleep Train will replace it free today. The whole apartment was sticky for the last few days, and today we finally got around to buying a mop and Pine Sol to remedy the problem. That said, my new Canon pocket camera was stolen. It was pretty expensive, and my mom gave it to me for Christmas. Sad. Angering.
2) My mother fucking Macbook Pro was stolen yesterday. I was in the mezzanine at my building working on a sketch when I left the room briefly to help my buddy mount a large 2x3 foot print out. When I returned, 2 minutes later, my bag was slightly ajar and Macbook Pro was nowhere to be found. There were two Indian guys looking at my stuff when I was working, but I figured they were oogling my flashy presentation material for my final, not the contents of my bag. I never flaunted the thing, or even took it out of my bag all day.
What the fuck! Thank God I used Time Machine before I went to bed, otherwise I would have lost all of my data. It really irks me that someone in my department would steal someone elses laptop during finals.
One week, two expensive things stolen. On top of it, my parents just fronted $1800 for me to order a bike that I will pay for when I return home, and my brother just got Invisalign braces, which set them back $4400. Then they wired me funds to get a new Macbook Pro so I wouldn't miss a blip of school.
So now I'm sitting here on a new 17" unibody jawn of jawns, thankful as balls for my amazing parents and disdainful as FUCK about the people around me. I told my rents if they're short on cash to feel free to borrow from my savings account. Coincidences like this suck, especially in this economy.
Don't steal. If I find out who took my computer I will probably beat the shit out of them. And yes, if it was you, be prepared ;-)
