So was it just me that thought no one posted for 3+ months? Wait, maybe no one did... Anyway, I wasn't logging in and reading entries (still haven't). But I guess it's still got SOME legs so why not post because--DAMN--I just found a good political video.
OK so sometimes David gets scared that Barack Obama might actually lose the prez election to John McCain. Yep, no faith at all. But, considering Kerry was ahead at this same juncture and that Obama is a Democrat (a pussy), I've felt like we wouldn't really be sure of anything until Nov. 5th. Until tonight (cut to video).
This is just him talking, not exploiting a McCain gaffe or anything... but isn't it just plain sexy how a Dem can actually defend himself? Can you imagine Kerry doing the same? Al Gore in 2000? Classy, confident and calm--yet penetrating and lethal.

In other news, writing even an lj entry is difficult in the summer. I haven't written a thing save CL ads which don't even count. wtf.
So I moved. I say 'I' but it was really Juliette and I except she wasn't here so physically only 'I' moved. Smaller place, less amenities but close to the GTown shuttle, Gdub, the kick-ass Dupont Circle neighborhood and metro and pretty much everything. Very exciting.
Juliette's been doing paperwork non-stop and was finally rewarded with a visa up to 2013. She's excited to start at GTown and get rich etc. On the other end of the spectrum, I've been working in the Freer and Sackler Gallery gift shops (freersacklershop.com) and thinking I should get a new job.
It's very hot in Washington.
I hope everyone is doing well. I've not been in touch with any of you and should just pick up the phone and probably will. Feel free to come down for a day, a weekend, a week (a semester?). Our place is smaller but I kept our FOR FRIENDS ONLY mattress so no 'scuses.
