snow white
every time there is supposed to be snow here, people FREAK out.
after having spent some time in the land where all it does is snow, when it snows here i have to laugh. we are expecting possibly 6-12inches which while it is not a little is not a lot. someone in my office told me it was going to be a "blizzard" this weekend and i tried to explain to them that it was in now way a blizzard (they did not believe me.) i kind of hate that NJ refuses to learn how to deal with snow because it truly is a great inconvenience for everyone anytime snow falls. i understand snow is never fun no matter where you are (unless of course, you are between the ages of 4 and 17, were the possibility of school being canceled is always a good thing OR if you are a professional skier who lives in the mountains) but to freak out before it even starts to fall is pretty ridiculous if you ask me. not that anyone is asking because that would be weird in itself...
im still sick, and if i ever get better i am going to do something only healthy people do... which i am not sure what that is right now.
