Weekend
Went to see Chris DJing Offbeat-style down South at the 'How does it feel to be loved?' night in Brixton yesterday.
It was good to see Chris and hear Hefner and Pavement some place other than on my i-pod. I liked the venue too, a nice small size and the music wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk. Pricey drinks but that's London. We may go again another week, it's the best indie night I've been to here which isn't unmanageably far away or just shit. It didn't get going early enough for people to have started dancing before we left to catch the last tube at 11.30. What time did we get home? 1.15am, including a 45 minute stop just outside Hammersmith while they looked for people apparently running on the tracks. They should have shot the bastards.
Has anyone else been following the hoax fox killing video story? I'm relieved a fox wasn't beaten to death with baseball bats, but hope it hasn't inspired anyone to actually go and do that.
