A/N: IDK MAN I RAN OUT OF JUICE FOR THE SUMMARY HURHURHURHURHUR. Alright, this prequel is kinda boring, but I think the next chapter would be fun-ner. XD I hope. >< Please tell me how you think this would go?? Thank you!! ^^
The boy was there again, sitting on that same bench with the same book. Or at least Junhyung thinks it's a book. It's a little thick, and the metallic pages don't have words. His hands, pale and smooth-looking, caress the surface of each page. A small smile would then form on his face as he proceeds onto the next page. His eyes, big doe eyes, they don't look at the book he is reading. Instead, it always stares into the distance, while his hands do the reading for him.
Dongwoon said the boy looked pretty. Junhyung thought he was beautiful.
~~~~.~~~
“Hyung, do you have the scores with you?”
Junhyung nodded without looking at the taller boy next to him, Dongwoon. His chocolate-brown hair glimmered in the sunlight, bouncing them off into Dongwoon's eyes, making him wince. But the younger-in-terms-of-age-but-older-in-terms-of-looks Dongwoon felt proud. Proud that his best buddy and big brother who was also his guitar tutor, Yong Junhyung, had such pretty hair. So he said that out loud, earning a whack on the stomach. “You're such a weirdo. I swear Kikwang is rubbing off you. Come on.”
The pair made their way to the park bench, settling down on the ground behind the bench. They never sat on the chair itself because they felt it was too normal, Junhyung liked being special and Dongwoon liked following his hyung. So they sat on the ground, hidden from view by the bench. Of course, that wasn't the only reason.
Always at that same time, half an hour after they start playing the guitar, a slim boy would arrive at that same bench, one hand clutching a book and the other gripping tightly onto the long walking stick which he used to prod the ground. Then he would sit down slowly before prying open his precious book. The cover of the book, Junhyung noted, looked like some kid's storybook. It was pretty worn out too, with the yellowing cover and stained metal pages. But it was still treated like a treasure by the silent boy.
Dongwoon continues to strum on the guitar, but Junhyung would stop and sneak glances at the stranger on the bench. He always thought, the guy is blind, so it's okay to stare right?, resisting the urge to take a picture of that beautiful, pale face just so he can stare at it everyday. Several times he would get ideas about talking to the other, but he just couldn't find the guts to do it. Anyway, the boy might just think that I'm some bad person that wants to kidnap him and run away. Sheesh. Whatever, he thought, I'll just stare from afar forever.
But forever isn't real. And so Junhyung met Jang Hyunseung.
