Hot days
Monday I went into work and my upstairs air went out sometime during the day. My boss said it was froze up, so we turned it off to let it defrost, now remember..I am the only one upstairs, everyone else is downstairs. Around four oclock I turn it back on because it had been off since like eleven that morning. I come into work Tuesday morning, and the air is still not working, it is 87 upstairs...I was pissed off and hot...he tells me that it is froze up again and that because we are moving Friday, there is no sense in calling the air conditioner guy, that he can fix it when it defrost again...so after hours of letting it defrost he realizes he could not fix it and all he keeps saying to me is "we need to continue to conduct business as usual"...im sitting there thinking WTF? My 16-year old son came up at noon to box offices up for the move, he worked in the 94 degree weather and did not complain at all. I was still pissy.
My boss leaves at 3 for the day and I am thinking THANK GOD! Our server room is upstairs which has a small air conditioner in there that runs constantly is apparently more important than his sales supervisor who made over 10K yesterday, yes even in the heat. Well without the big air conditioner, the small one was not cutting it and the temperature alarm starts going off upstairs, my boss is calling, freaking out, telling the tech guys...The servers cannot operate under that heat up there. I am thinking, what the hell am I CHOPPED LIVER, did he think I could operate under that heat..I mean shit, I came so close yesterday to telling people just shut the f**k up and quit your damn whining, I would go downstairs after an hour and a half just to let my bra dry out...sheesish he pissed me off...so now I am thinking that maybe just maybe he will have the air fixed for today..I dont know what he did with the server room last night, I am sure the alarm company kept calling, lmao...but atleast they were not calling me. I BETTER HAVE AIR TODAY!
Oh, and around four yesterday, we realized the downstairs air stopped working, lmfao...so he did start getting alerts for that yesterday as well...he has a 50K salt water aquarium in his office which apparently cannot operate in the heat as well...his personal assistant was told to put ice in zip lock bags and put those in the top of the tank...Karma sure is biting him in his azz...I BETTER HAVE AIR TODAY! :-)
