It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas
Things are getting better. Thanks to Scott. Saturday we decorated the apartment, listened to Christmas music, and watched "Muppet Family Christmas" and other Christmas movies. We ate h'or d'orves (?) for supper, made strawberry banana smoothies in my new Magic Bullet, and snacked on other stuff. We cuddled. It was nice. We even put Christmas lights up in our window. Now it feels good. Christmas.
I still get upset about Cass not being here. The thought of sleeping alone on Chistmas Eve makes me want to vomit. And I don't think I'll be getting up at 6:00 am like I have done EVERY other year. I do not want to spend my Christmas in Eastport. Not without Cass. But when I don't think about it, Christmas is okay.
For right now I'm excited about it. I'm excited about Scott and I exchanging presents. I'm excited about sending out Christmas cards. I'm excited about the secret santa thing we're doing in school. So, things are okay. Thank god.
