But as Belphegor watches this feed, the impulse to reply immediately with excitement wanes as she realizes something is absent from her elder sister. Like someone had reached in and stealthily removed a handful of bricks from Leviathan's overall foundation.
She can't put her finger on, exactly, what...but it's bothering.

Reinon...? No, I-- [Clearly not the response she'd been expecting. Had she been wrong? She can only peer so closely at the other girl's visage on the communicator's LCD screen to try and measure this situation properly.
[That's hard to do when she keeps squinting them up to whine, but Belphe DOES eventually take in this bit of information. Which leads her to look more carefully at the uniform - identical to the one assigned to Shannon. And the hair...a natural golden-yellow instead of the tinted shade of green it should be.]

[ She sobs gently now, feeling the comfort. She hasn't noticed either Belphegor's clothes or eyes at all, but she's really happy to know that she's not alone in this. ]
