Just killing time
I'm going to Squaw Valley this weekend with my Pastor. It was originally me, him, clearbright, and so_yun, but so_yun couldn't go so it's just me and the Rev. He's a really cool guy. We have the same interests and he's only a couple years older than me. So even though he's my pastor we are kind of like homies. Yeah we go boarding, play ball, have dinner, but most importantly we share our spritual struggles and pray for each other. I guess that's the way it should be. Yeah but I've never had a Pastor who I just kicked it with. Maybe because they were always way older than me.
Anyways we always stay at Circus Circus because they have these cool deals, 2 nights including a lift ticket starting at $55. Squaw is $79, still good though. But the only catch is it's Sunday-Thursday. I hope the powder is nice.
I have to work tomorrow...sucks. It's our new student orientation so I'm pretty much going to be there all day. But I'm taking Monday off to board and then it's a short week cuz Friday is Cesar Chavez Day! I know what you are thinking, "Who gets Cesar Chavez Day off!?". It's just one of the perks of working in higher ed.
