Tahoe Baby!
Northstar was awesome! I went up with my best bud, his girl and my wifey. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. Except on Friday it took us about 7 hours to get up there. We left at 6PM and didn’t get up to our cabin until 3AM. We did make an hour and half detour to Austin’s steakhouse. I got the ribeye medium rare and loved it. Everybody else was not that impressed with it. I think we hyped it up too much James.
The cabin was really nice and the snow on Saturday was perfect. You couldn’t have asked for a better day…well a little more powder never hurts anyone. Mary really improved a lot. She can carve pretty well now.
After boarding we went back to our cabin and cooked one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We had filet mignon with potatoes roasted in olive oil, pepper, salt, and rosemary, and some veggie skewers. I should post some pictures.
