This weekend was so great!!
It started by going home to teach walled lake's winter drumline- they are great kids, and i'm very excited to be a part of their staff! That only lasted about 4 hours, then me and my honey had a romantic get-away at a hotel ;) We went on an hour long hunt for chinese, only to find there was an amazing place right across the street from us!! Yay for eating chinese w/no forks and no plates- we managed, though :)
What a good night.
Then on Friday, we woke up, checked out and went to the mall- only to feel extremely poor cause we couldn't afford anything.. Santa was there.. It's too early for Santa! Although, I'd like to go get a picture with the jolly o' man!
After that, I made my way to MSU to hang out w/my girl christina, what a great time we had! We rushed to see the end of SMB, only to see them march their freezing asses off the field, bummer. But then we made our way to the drum building and i got too see all my favorite nca boys- jordon, joepa and larry! Oh, and beth, too! Some rookie bitches too, but some are too cool to say hi! heh, whatever.
Then Christina and I went bowling @ the union on campus- It was fun. The place was built in the 60s or something- we had to keep score by hand, we had no idea how so the dude tought us, and now i'm a scorekeeper pro! rockin. Then we went to the parlour and ate chicken. Er, the parlour and bowling are swopped, we ate then bowled, oops! Man, I wanted to eat the 21 scoops of icecream and get my name on the wall, that would have been sweet! Only TWO have succeeded, I could have been 3rd. Next time! Then we went and saw a comedian on campus- He was hilarious, good times, definitely.
AND I tought her how to crochet, and she is a pro. lol- being crafty rocks!
Hmm. Saturday I came home- slept for like 38 hours into today, and now i am here. Lazy rest-of the weekend. It feels SO great to not have to worry about anything for school.. for ONCE!
K, well that's all. Turkey day in 4 days, and I'm going home in 2. Should be fun.
Eat lots
