YAYE EMPLOYMENT!
So, first day!
The Positive:
I’m in cubicle-land, which may not sound like a plus, but consider my last place of employment: it is considerably more difficult to talk untrue shit behind my back when I can hear everything you say, no?
Also? FREE COFFEE.
The Negative:
There are a bunch of weird-ass, overly stringent security regulations on campus because it’s a manufacturing company, and I can deal with most of them just fine. But one of the apparently unbendable rules is that you can’t drink coffee at your desk unless there’s a lid on it, and that is just…painfully upsetting. I have to see what I’m drinking, thanks very much. God knows I’m not the kind of person to nurture unfounded neuroses, but…oh. Never mind.
