Welcome to all of our new residents. I'm Karrin Murphy--a warden--and I teach Aikido on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the evening on deck. I also host meditation sessions in the eighth floor common room at six every morning. Anyone is welcome, though inmates need to have the approval of their wardens.

Right--incident report regarding inmate Beatty. The event in question took place on Monday evening, during the dinner hour. I was in the library when I saw inmate Beatty enter with an improvised incendiary weapon and lighter in hand. I disabled him using minimal appropriate force, as he insisted he was doing us all a favor and trying to save us, cleanse our impurities, et cetera. I'm convinced that his intention wasn't to harm any living beings, just burn the books, though it's clear he didn't care if anyone was burnt alive in the process.
