There is no better time of year than the season of autumn. The sky is filtered a crisp grey and blue by the approaching icy air, picturesquely contrasting with the swarms of yellows and oranges that float from moss green branches as the summer sun makes its last stand against the coming winter, bleeding red into the clouds beneath it all the while. I actually took a disposable camera outside the other day, fully aware that I hadn't a chance in Hell to capture the sky in such a cheap device but resolute to at least show my appreciation by putting forth the effort to try. Good stuff.
Watched 'Borat' last night with Blake and Cory, and it was refreshingly amusing. Somehow, they managed to yank the character straight out of the 'Ali G Show' sketches and not only keep that original Borat true to the old sketches and equally funny for an extended period of time but also infuse a plot to tie it all together and make it seem like you were right there with him on his journey to marry Pamela Anderson. Priceless, all 80 minutes of it. Expect to be hearing the catchphrases until Christmas.
SAT Subject Tests were today, and I don't think I did that well on anything but Literature. I don't think I needed to, though, so I'm not that worried about it. Next.
I started writing the script for 'Off the Record' today.. it's entertaining to write but obviously I have no indication of whether or not I'm pushing what we'll actually be capable of doing. There are lines of dialogue (in English, instead of the broken Spanish in our other movies), fake newspaper pages, a cat stuck in a tree, a fair amount of bike riding, and a projectile newspaper to the head. I'm on page two.
If you're interested in being in our movie at all... you can. We will probably need all the people we can get.
In other news, there's no other news so that means I'm done for another unstipulated period of time.
