Happy "Hand over your hard-earned money to 'The Man'" Day
I just went and did my taxes (not that I procrastinated or anything) for the first time in 3 years-- think they'll notice? hehe. Anyhoo, if they don't I get around $1,500 combined (State and Federal) back. That'd be a nice chunk o' change. I'm interested to see if they'll give it to me.
I'd just like to note that, being primarily a Socialist in my politics, I don't really agree with taxes-- esp. with how my tax money is being spent. National healthcare, Education policies that actually work... these programs I'd gladly give up some of my income for. The war in Iraq? Survey says...
