S and C will be visiting this weekend. Haven't seen them in more than 6 months, so it will be great to see them. I am bummed that C has been to Phoenix twice in that time and hasn't called or even let me know she was coming. *sigh* Kids.
Anyway, also looks like I need to work. I was planning on doing some work, but now it looks like I really, really need to in order to keep this user testing moving forward. We are soooo behind schedule. Rollout was supposed to be June 1, then was pushed back to July 15. We'll be lucky to have all the bugs worked out by July 15, then have it run through some users for familiarity and other checks, develop the training plan and the rollout schedule, which will be slow and tightly controlled - thank goodness because all users are going to need training before this goes live in their area. I'm hoping this will mean some travel for me, and yet I know travel will be a huge burden on the family as it will likely mean Hubby will have to curb some of his work schedule. On top of that, we'll both miss out on production schedules while I'm gone...Good for the career on one hand, but short term goals may have to slide on the other...
Did I mention I can't wait for my mid-year review this time? Boss came by earier today to thank me for getting my self evaluation in on time - none of his other direct reports have done theirs yet and today is the deadline (although he announced later in the morning that the deadline was extended to Monday).
Back to my point...things to do this weekend, testing the system, resetting the cashflow report, running and entering cashflow numbers, compiling the rejected report. Now how much of that do you really think I'll get done when I've got such fun people at the house?
