my NYE 08/09
New years eve verity, lucy and ange had the penthouse at the holiday inn. That was pretty sweet, 2 levels and has it's own spa and shit. We had a cocktail party there and everyone was way smashed, heaps of fun :P Then new years day at midday I jumped on a plane to Brisbane with Kreed, Rhiannon, Fetty and PJ still a bit messy from the night before :P The plane was pretty much empty so I was able to lie across 3 seats and have a bit of a sleep. Then in Brizzy Kreed rented a car and we drove down to the GC. PJ and I went out that night to Melbas to meet a couple of his mates and then we headed to the bedroom (nightclub). That wasn't too bad, pretty small but being a Thursday night the night after NYE it wasn't overly crowded but enough people to make it good. The fucken sun gets up there at about 4:30, that's so shit. so anyway got to bed at about 4:30 as the sun was getting up and slept till about 11:00. Did a few things that day, got our own car (Fetty, PJ and I), met up with Caitlyn and Bec and went to pac fair. also caught up with Griff as he lives in Brizzy and was on the coast for SFD. went out for a bit that night but lost everyone so I was on my own for a few hrs and got home round 3-3:30. bit of sleep then up for the big day. We ended up getting our shit sorted late the night before so we had no worries. Got to SFD at about 4:00 and there were people everywhere and so much mud since it was raining earlier. saw a few good DJ's play then Ferry Corsten came on the main stage so went to see his set. I liked it the most because you could actually dance a bit to it. Armin Van Buren was pretty good too but way trancy so no dancing. Underworld were pretty average but they played born slippy right at the end and that went off. stayed for a bit longer but everyone wanted to leave so meh. Went back to the hotel and a few others came back there and stayed up all night. PJ and I went down to the beach in the morning and had a bit of a swim and walked down the beach for ages and had to catch a bus back. the next couple of days were pretty much full on recovery. Then back to Darwin on the 6th. Had the best time down there and now just looking forward to Adelaide BDO :D
