insisting that I will like a band because I like X, Y, and Z, or indeed, YYZ- doesn't mean I will like them. this also applies to the type of mentality that "oh, your band wouldn't exist without this band". yeah, but I prefer what MY band do.
this also applies to Last.fm, despite it being an automated service- it doesn't seem to get the idea I find Robert Plant's voice fucking irritating and I will never like Led Zeppelin.
