It's about 8:30AM or so local time when Nick expects Alya at the hotel; he doesn't exactly have a lot of things to tidy up, but making the effort is something to do in the intervening minutes, anyway. He's got clean clothes, anyway, and may have actually burned what he came to the nexus in.
