Lots of college goings-on lately. I scheduled my classes today: 18th and 19th Century British Literature, Introduction to Theatre Studies, Current Topics in Astronomy, and Art of Japan. Unfortunately, the Arabic classes were full up, so I think I'll wait to take a foreign language until at least next year, since I'm really bad about studying and remembering it over the summer. My literature class starts at 8:30, but I'll live. The only thing that I'm not certain about is the lab for astronomy... is it really 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm? I mean, that would make sense. Because that's when it would be dark. But that would mean having six hours of class per week, when it says it should be only four. I don't mind, I'm just wondering if I'm misinterpreting. And I only have Art of Japan on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is good, because days off make me happy.

I also got a letter from Denison today saying that I had gotten into the Outdoor Orientation program. :) Sometime this summer we'll go out shopping for the things that I need... the school provides any equipment I don't have, but mom's right: I'm kind of small, so a small backpack and a light sleeping bag and such would probably be good ideas.

And Antioch College went bankrupt. Guess it's a good thing I didn't go there, you know? Which actually makes Denison the cheapest school I could have gone to on my list, which is a nice bonus to it becoming my first choice after visiting. Funny how things work out sometimes. I don't know... I'm really excited to go. After I got off the phone with the professor who helped me register for classes, I just went, "SQUEE!" and bounced around for a while. Everyone who's been there has such great things to say about it, everyone I've met has seemed so nice, I just can't help but have a good feeling about it. *big grin*
