Many parts of this amused me when I read it. However, I'm commenting several days later and can't re-read the whole thing right now, so I don't remember what was so amusing. But it was, trust me.
Sorry you're misfunctioning here lately. Blame it on a combination of the Russians, and horoscope like stars-involving mythology.
Love, eh? I think I chuckled at this. Okay, I think I can sum a few things up for you, though mind you, my viewpoint comes from the cynical and/or distorted end of the spectrum. A poem:
The greatest human desire Is by far the greatest flaw. If love made any sense There'd be no point at all.
Hah. I remembered that one from memory. Let's see, I'll also toss a few words out there: disease, obsession, insanity, sickness, paranoia, poison (ech, slipping into the gother side of Sears here. take things with a cynical spin, s'il tu plait). Look around for some quotes from George Bernard Shaw, I believe is his name. Love is a very dangerous thing. Listen to the rock songs; "love is like oxygen: you get too much, you get too high; not enough and you're gonna die," etc. From what I understand, it's really great when it all goes right, but when it goes wrong, things get really twisted. The word "creepy" comes to mind, when I reflect on the past and people who seemed infatuated with me. *cough*josh*cough*sayles*cough*
Love is part of a social game, a very, and I cannot say this enough, dangerous game to play. There are many very fine lines. Dangerously fine. A lot of mind games are involved. A constant guessing game of where you stand with people. The mentality of it all is what leads to the crazy part.
All right. I could ramble all day on this. But I'm tired. I ran in hookerboots. I'd like to see you try and run in hookerboots eh.
Luckily enough, I'm not planning on entering the game at this current point in time. I was just chilling in my room and began pondering "what is love?"
cynicality and distortion are part of the definition of love. I'm looking for a "complete" definition (the quotes denote the impossibility), so everything helps.
