I want to spend an afternoon at Panera watching customers try to fit the lids to the cups.
I can't be the only one infuriated by them. The plastic is pretty slick and the the lids slide all over the place, sometimes causing you to spill your drink all over the counter. It's really busy around lunchtime, and I'm always stuck trying to oh-so-delicately secure the plastic lid to my cup of iced tea while a line forms next to me with people trying to fill up their cups. If I can't get the lid on relatively quickly, I'll try to spot an empty table and do it there. Sometimes I have to rest the cup on top of a trash can, which kinda grosses me out.
But then I eat a cherry pastry and all is forgiven.
