After Roller Derby practice Michela and I thought it would be a great idea to invite the team over for dinner. But it turns out we haven't turned on the gas to our new house yet, so we had to cook eggplant Parmesian over the fire pit in the back yard. The pasta caught on fire and I had to put it out with an oven mit. Mickey also thought it wise to touch a pot that had just come out of the fire with her bare hands. So then she spent the rest of the evening with icy butter on her hands. And then I went into my room to sleep and discovered that my cat had peed on my bed. So I showed it to her and told her "No!" and she looked at me and then scratched at my sheets in an attempt to bury it.
