The Albuquerque Tribune is doing a piece on Duke City Derby. There was a photographer at our practice yesterday, and I noticed that he only took pictures of us when we fell. And then Michela was hopping to her car on one foot because she only had one skate on, and he followed her a took a lot of pictures! Yesss! Also, Yesterday's roller derby drilled consisted of a lot of "falling drills"- where we skate a few steps and then throw ourselves on the ground. To practice falling. I think Jason would be really good at this drill... or at least would benefit greatly.
