UHM okay I think I mentioned it before but Itachi is a semi-guide for Kida. If Kida's got a question about something in camp, Itachi is his go-to guy. He really likes Itachi and is attached to him, but not in the way that he's attached to Mikado/Anri/Bekku/Banjou. He doesn't have these PROTECTIVE FEELINGS about Itachi because he knows very well that Itachi can protect himself and at the same time he doesn't feel the need to protect himself against Itachi figuring things out about him because it doesn't bother him. Itachi's experienced things he has, and worse. It's... idk it's something NEW to him where he isn't actively trying to hide when he's worried about something because he doesn't have to protect Itachi from this 'darker side' of himself kind of thing. He's aware of it and it's really weird to him, but he likes and trusts Itachi a lot so he just kind of goes with it.
... Okay that was a lot of babbling but to get more to the point, Kida trusts Itachi completely as someone he can go to when he has a problem. WHICH IS A BIG STEP UP FROM IZAYA there are still some things he doesn't feel comfortable sharing like his history with Saki and Yellow Scarves, but stuff that's more camp-related problems he's consciously willing to seek out Itachi and talk to him about it.
