It seems like it would be sutble so I kept it all that way. And delving into Atlantis was fun. Teyla was easier to write than I thought she would be.

And you wrote her so well, which is an compliment in itself. From what I've observed and read, Teyla is the most difficult character to write...okay, maybe Ronon since he's a newbie but he doesn't count. ;)

Teyla is very subtly physical--which is a problem for many writers I think. But her language is a lot like Teal'c so it's really just toning Teal'c down.

Sort of.

Now I'm imagining Teal'c with a wig. Good fun.

I promise that I'll try to work on it a little every day. I don't think this will be nearly as mentally draining as my normal angsty fare. And like I said, I'll have the first part finished by your birthday. Promise! :D
