Title: Whedonverse Limerick Project: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Rating: I’m slapping a generic PG-13 on all of these even though most are PG
Notes: All non-spoiler limericks are listed first. Limericks that contain spoilers are at the end of the post and are well marked. Spoilers for shows that have already aired are elements that reveal the plot of a story or the fate of a character or pairing. Dialogue, scenes that were included in promos, and non-canon events/pairings are not spoilers. Each limerick is titled with season and episode title.
Awards: I had limericks win Second Place for Best Word Kiss to Joss, Third Place for Most Interesting Rhyme, and two Third Place for Buffiest Limerick.

Joss Whedon Is My God
For Joss Whedon I have great affinity.
He’s the head of my divine trinity.
He made me love Buff.
Angel was tough.
And now he’s finishing Serenity.
2nd place for Best Word Kiss to Joss
Season 1: “Angel”
Buffy practices her brutality
Dusting vampires with totality
But to make her smile
Let her kill from a mile
And say “Hello, flying fatality.”
3rd place for Most Interesting Rhyme
Season 3: “The Prom”
When Xander can’t get a date,
his left hand becomes a good mate.
It seldom is jealous,
the silence can be relished-
A positive spin on his fate.
Season 4: “Superstar”
Jonathan is a hero for the masses,
he even is sexy in glasses.
In the Matrix he starred,
put crooks behind bars,
and the sight of him faints all the lasses.

You may all think I’m a bit loopy
But I’m the biggest Xander groupie
In speedos he’s hot
He’s funny a lot
And he’s cutest when dancing like Snoopy.

A vamp’s rough kiss
He knew what he missed
And Buff’s passion wasn’t the same.

Spike thought ensouled Angel was tame.
Buffy-bot was programmed the same--
To agree with Spike,
Say what he liked,
Including, “Angel’s hair is lame.”
