Lovely! I'm a sucker for the flashes of a life together peppered through a season. Nicely done.

I'm a sucked for them, too. I love filling in the cracks for what happens around the missions.

Glad you enjoyed this one. Right now, this is my special child because I was going through POV Issues and this helped me get back on track.

Yay! I was so craving Jack/Daniel and lo and behold you totally delivered! I can so see their relationship actually progressing in this manner. Also, I loved the little jab at Cam just being meaningless sex to hold Daniel over until he could finally do it with Jack. So yes, I very much liked this. =)

I'd like to say that I read your mind and felt that you wanted this, but that would be such a bald-faced lie, that I'd rather not even try to pull that one off. ;)

I can so see their relationship actually progressing in this manner.

Oh, yes. I see it as they're ready to actually tell each other and then the world is about to end so, oops, no happiness for them (I am in no way influenced by Joss Whedon). And then when the timing might actually be good-they fuck it up by their own means. Because they are "special." And by "special" I mean "stubborn." Hee.

Theirs is a love that is years in the making.

Also, I loved the little jab at Cam just being meaningless sex to hold Daniel over until he could finally do it with Jack.

Jab? Oh, it's not meant to be a jab. I love Daniel/Cameron very much, too. I mean, yes I think that Jack/Daniel would come either before or after Daniel/Cameron (possibly both before and after), but I think Daniel/Cameron is also ( ... )

I admit I'm a glutton for the angsty Jack/Daniel. It just hurts so wonderfully!

I cuddle this Daniel and Jack. : }

*blinkblink* Angst? What are you talking about? ;)

Actually, the end turned out a bit fluffy for my tastes. But then I decided that it balanced out from the beginning. Oy. "Forever in a Day" and "Meridian"; I probably should have just done "Lost City" and admitted that I was trying to write The Angstiest Fic Evar.

Glad you enjoyed it. I love my Angst Whores. ;)

Yes, because all we needed after being almost murdered by your own wife and dying from radition poisioning was being trapped in an Ancient status machine with no hope (at the time) of revival.

And also, I have this paper cut - maybe you have some lemon juice handy? ; D

Love the little glimpses at what could have been. Also liked the suggestion at the end that maybe, just maybe, this time it will work out!

The military man in Jack snorts at the romantic, so the romantic beats the military man in the face with a bouquet of roses and stuffs a box of chocolate up his nose.

However that was my favorite part.

Thanks! And maybe this time it will work out.

Or maybe the Earth will be doomed and they'll have to die again. Who knows? :D

*snickers* This was one of my favorite parts, too. I wrote it, considered deleting it, and then realized I could get away with it if Jack told Daniel about it. Hee.

I love writing Jack.

Oh, much as I can love Cameron with Daniel sometimes, I am so glad that was a bluff. Although seriously? Daniel, you bastard; good for you finally playing the dirty cards.

I love Cameron and Daniel, too, but they just don't have the same spark Jack and Daniel have-Daniel's bound to notice that, too. And yes, Daniel is a manipulative bastard. Though I'm not sure he knew it was going to work, I think he was just trying a different tactic (yes, tactic, Daniel has learned something from hanging around Jack for so long).
