Favourite quote "Grin: -- Your true diddler winds up all with a grin. But this nobody sees but himself. He grins when his daily work is done -- when his allotted labors are accomplished -- at night in his own closet, and altogether for his own private entertainment. He goes home. He locks his door. He divests himself of his clothes. He puts out his candle. He gets into bed. He places his head upon the pillow. All this done, and your diddler grins. This is no hypothesis. It is a matter of course. I reason a priority, and a diddle would be no diddle without a grin. " -- E.A. Poe

Hobbies/Interests: roleplaying, cosplaying, writing, the internet, throwing themed parties, video games, singing and dancing, general tomfoolery and the resulting shenanigans that involve myself and friends.

Likes: sleeping, having money to spend on things I probably don't need, reorganizing things, being dumb and AWESOME with my friends, historical/mythical/pop culture references, witty banter, CAPS LOCK and flailing, things that are delicious, roleplaying, cosplaying, reading, the internet (online gaming, online shopping, livejournaling, etc etc), throwing (themed) parties, video games. I'm pretty much the typical geek.

Dislikes: Ignorance and hate, early mornings, onions, math (because math can kick my ass and that's not cool), being guilt-tripped into things, florescent lighting, bad roommates, not being acknowledged for things I've done or contributed to, being compared to other people, people not listening to me, blushing in front of other people, and way too much humidity.

Same gender stamp? doesn't really matter. STAMP ME AS THE PERSON YOU THINK I FIT. :D

Either Or...

Bravery or Revenge: ...Okay, firstly, I'm a little confused as to why the either/or with these. I mean, look at Batman. But I guess, to answer it, revenge. My bouts of red mist are sometimes a problem and should be handled with care and caution. :Db I don't forgive and forget as easily as some people; I might not actively remember each slight, but don't think I have forgotten. I think I have the capacity to go out of my way to avenge whatever.

Social or Anti-social: I really do like meeting people and I have a tendency of being outgoing; even when I'm nervous or uncomfortable I sometimes start rambling and talking and talking to whomever is closest. When I am shy, it's usually when I have something to "hide" behind, a book or headphones, some things that makes it so I don't have to be with others. A lot of the time I come off as aloof and uh, kind of pissed off. Funny story, I almost didn't meet my best friend in the entire world because she was almost afraid to approach me about my shirt (we were both wearing gay LOTR shirts; her's was Sam/Frodo and mine was Merry/Pippin). Usually though, I'm very friendly and sociable, especially when I'm with my friends. I can be the person surrounded by people laughing and breaking into song and buying everyone a round of drinks. It really just depends.

Brilliance or Imagination: Here's the thing, technically I've got a high IQ and I'm suppose to be brilliant or something BUT BUT BUT I'm the kind of person who never really applied myself with things that bored me and I had a short attention span, and most of the time I was hidden away with my head in a book or up in the clouds. So translation, B. Imagination, is my final answer. :Db

Street smart or Book smart: I like to think that I'm both, it's sort of a toss up, my head is filled with lots of random information and smarts. But I guess I have a tendency of seeming naive and sort of dense, not really dumb, but just a bit oblivious, so maybe I should go with book-smart?

Pessimist or Optimist Mostly optimistic but I can be quite the skeptical skeptical pessimist when I want to be. Good days and bad days...

Night or Day Night. My sleep schedule is fucked and I tend to work best at night. I feel more creative and I like the night life (disco lyrics go here!).

Leader or Follower I'm comfortable being a leader with people I know and am use to, like, if I know the group dynamics and have experience with that group, I haven't a problem taking charge and sometimes I can get very bossy. But I am also able to take a more passive role if I think I need to or if someone else is better fit for the position. Or, you know, if the group decides to strip me of my power because of my inherent crazy. XD

Laid-Back or Tense I'm so much more tense than people realize, I'm great at faking the mellow hahaha. Not that I'm not frequently mellow. XD Depends on my levels of stress and my nerves.

Realist or Dreamer Dreamer, definitely. I was always one of those kids who would constantly get in trouble daydreaming in class. Even now, I am constantly in a state of being (you guys should understand, it's a fandom state of mind filled with almost irrational obsession, flailing, and joyness, am I right?) that other people sometimes don't get.

Favourites:

Movies The Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Cloverfield, Jaws, The Sandlot, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Royal Tenenbaums, Enchanted, Chasing Amy, Hard Candy, and many many more.

Books Storm Constantine's Wraeththu, Gregory Maguire's Wicked, Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, and Pratchett/Gaiman's Good Omens.

Music lol here we go: Plastilina Mosh, Gorillaz, Queen, showtunes, Elvis Presley, Outkast, Orange Range, Miyavi, MC Frontalot, MC Chris, M.I.A, Peaches, Electric Six, The Cat Empire, Kimya Dawson, Eisley, Hawksley Workman, The Aquabats, Jonathan Coulton, Great Big Sea, Reel Big Fish, The Violent Femmes, Mika, GO!GO!7188, The Black Mages, Blue Öyster Cult, Lenny Kravitz, Liz Phair, Martha Wainwright, Okkervil River, The Magnetic Fields, and many many more.

Color Orange. It's a color and a fruit! It's bright, citrus but also sunburnt, and makes me think of fall and Halloween. Not to mention I look great in orange, which is always A++.

Would you attempt the impossible, even if you were told it couldn't be done? Depends on what it is and if I really wanted it enough.

Would you do what you thought was right, even without the help or support of others? I'm sure I'd try and rally any kind of support, but if it came down to it, and it was just me, I'd try to do what I thought was right, even though I'd honestly feel like nothing would come from it. You can force change, but it is easier when it's not a single person.

Are you dependable? I'm not as dependable as I feel I should be. I mean, really, it's not like I go out of my way to be a flake or an asshole or whatever, but sometimes I just don't come through like I was suppose to be. And I feel so guilty and try to make up for it, but, well, my dependable-reputation suffers.

Who or What would you lay in front of a tank for? The loves of my life.

Across the Universe -

Favorite character and why: Max. He's something amazing, a bohemian and an intellectual despite dropping out (institutions and papers can't define you, school isn't the be-all end-all, it's about the want and the drive). He took chances and made fun when he could, He laughed and smiled, brought people together and lived. He might have gone to war and changed, but he came back Max, only slightly dimmed. A-Also Joe Anderson is adorable and fantastic. Yeah.

Who do you relate to most and why: Hmm. I think I'm going to say Jude. At first glance, I'm a bit quiet, a little standoffish (not that that shell lasts long, but!). Being creative and working-fighting-dealing the best I can, but not in the way that's wanted from me ("Looks like you've been fighting the cause too, man." "I don't have one. That's the problem.") I don't constantly wear myself on my sleeves and I have a habit of leaving.

Favorite scene? Right before With A Little Help From My Friends, Max and his friends on the roof, wailing those golf balls at the dorm, smashing the window, "They're, They're not going back to bed", and then the hilarious chase music. GOOD TIMES. My friends and I have, uh, had shenanigans go sideways and we got to know the dorm's fire-escape stairs real well. XD This one time, it had been raining, so I ended up falling on my ass and sliding down one whole flight of stairs. My terrible friends laughed at me once we discovered that I was, in fact, not paralyzed.

Favorite quotes (no more than three):

→ Max; "I'm a cross-dressing homosexual pacifist with a spot on my lung."

→ Jude; "What are you going to do if you don't go back to college?"
Max; "What any irresponsible, unmotivated, drop-out would do. Go to New York, like tonight."

Favorite song-scene I'm guessing EVERYTHING isn't an acceptable answer. Touché. I've Just Seen A Face, at the bowling alley and having fun and being in love and Jude's smile throughout, it just makes me feel happy. ALSO ALSO I Want You/She's So Heavy gets mentioned because the choreography is amazing. And who didn't have happy little heart flutters during Hey Jude? ...and at the very end, during All You Need is Love, Max singing "She loves you ya ya ya"...
