Profile writing tips.

Um.. I need some profile writing tips.. is there someone that is good at this who can help me out? I'm a real mess.. everything I want to put in the profile is in my head.. just can't write it out.

I'm Invidia1988 by the way I joined this comm the other night.. so anyone willing to help me out?

Well... by "help", do you mean that you want to see an example profile, or a list of details that might aid you in the creation of your own?

The Wikipedia article about L is very useful when creating a profile for the character, since info (like his date of birth) is readily available in an organized manner. However, to make the character more "you" (since you'll be playing a composite of L and yourself; this is virtually unavoidable), add a few very distinctive touches, like a believable fanon background for something unexplained in canon, or a new and conceivable quirk. For example, when I'm an L-mun, he loves Dostoevsky, hates mirrors, and thinks chiefly in prime numbers when math is involved. Touches like these make him "yours" just enough to feel like you have stock in the character, and people will see that you're playing a real person that you actually had a hand in creating (rather than just fangirling over an unchangeable, copyrighted creation).

Thank you so much it means a lot to me when people help me out. I lack to depths ^^; grammar and profiles I can rp like it's nothing but when it comes to a profile.. I feel.
