here's the skinny
Ok so I went to Chicago last week, had a freaking blast...heres what happened....
well we left on sunday to go to st. louis to see a show...needless to say the show was ass-rocking...seriously it was awesome, except i almost died in the crowd, but what are you gonna do right? yeah in the true NEB. spirit i just drank more, well I met mike park and he was about the coolest guy ever, sat had a beer, decided it was time to try to drive to chicago....which was about 4 and a half hours away. so amy ans i get going, blah blah blah, we get into chicago about 4:45ish, and well its still dark and we have absolutely no fucking idea where to go. so we get to the lake just as the first bits of light are coming off the horizon, we go up lake shore drive and find a nice place to get out and stretch our legs, we sit on the beach watch the sun come up on like michigan...i have pics but they are all emo-cry-babyish (it's a fucking sun rise, come on) well we drive around for like 6 hours just trying to figure out the city (it's a huge fucking city, wow) well we end up not sleeping for well it was about 45 to 48 hours, but yeah we stay at a friend of ours, Scott...hes awesome. anyways we spend the next 4 days being drunk, and exploring the city....we got drunk at the fireside bowl....the place is fucking cool, small, but awesome, and the guy, Rich, that owns it fucking loves me so thats sweet, but yeah got wasted and laid on the sidewalk outside the fireside, and was basically euphoric to be where i was. but yeah spent a couple of nights gettting drunk and just wandering around....we did the same thing durring the day, only not drunk, just hungover. so this is what i got out of this trip to chicago.....1 i am happier there than anywhere else in the world. 2 scott and i are starting a band when i move up there....(names are in the works, as are lyrics, but know i am writing like a mad woman) 3 with red hair i look like Jessica Rabbit (roger rabbit's super hot wife....yeah shes animated, but so am i at times :) 4 I WILL BE LIVING IN CHICAGO no later than october. 5 i am deathly allergic to everything in nebraska...the second we hit omaha i was coughing and sneezing,and felt shitty, possibly due to the lack of sleep, or the massive amounts of both alcohol, and pot, that were abused durring the course of this trip. but all in all i love it there, and i will be gone in october.....in fact i'll be up there next month to find an apartment.
and that was my trip....so what did you do last weekend? not that i care, just curious.
