This is perfect, perfectness. I had similar thoughts during the episode. And while this hurts (stupid society), it's wonderful all the same. Great job.

Thank you! I hadn't really thought about these things until Mary wanted an AU set as if the Christmas Special were real and then I couldn't escape it, no matter how hard I tried to make this happy.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed it.

Oh, but, this is lovely.

You should break your posting rules more often.

This aches perfectly.

Thanks love!

My self-imposed rules should be lifted by the end of the year, provided I'm productive, then I'll be free to post again if/when I have things to post.

Sorry. But when I said I was going to post something, did you really think it was going to be a lighthearted romp?

It's like you don't know me at all.

Wait what? I thought sad-face was, like, the Pulitzer for us.

Did I miss something?

I don't have words to describe my feelings about this fic. I've been thinking a lot about what it would have been like if this were real for them, and you captured the difficulty of it well. It hurts, but it's still full of a bittersweet but very real love. Really nicely done.

(I'm a drabble purist who believes to be called a drabble the fic must be exactly 100 words. I'd call this a ficlet. :) )

The reality of what the world would have been like for them wouldn't leave me alone once I decided to write this. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

(I thought it might have something to do with word count. Ficlet it is).

A beautiful picture; the bittersweetness gives it a nuance that makes it all the more poignant, and that last line, especially, is lovely.

Thank you so much. The last line may be my favorite. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it.
