Thank You - After Thought
Something else I would like to add to my last post:
Ever since I was old enough to get into trouble, I have always heard my friends say "I got your Back". Thing is, when trouble comes, all I ever see is the dust they leave behind as they run for the hills.
This time when I turned around, I almost tripped over 3 friends that had never made any such empty promises to me. They didn't owe me anything. There was no honorable debt that needed to be paid. They were there even though they had no obligation to be.
At age 30, I never expected to find such honor and loyalty in my friends. I was convinced by now that sort of thing only existed in books or movies.
