I just had lunch walking around outside with a prof-o-science friend (haven't had lunch with anyone in weeks and weeks and weeks), and in an hour I'm leaving work to go home and write a very cool paper. Wheee!

The world is looking up. I just needed a little sunshine and science-mush.

Also, L? She says that we can both go to Africa (in her place, even) if she goes again next year.
