turkey
so, I bought 2 turkeys while they are on sale but not even my 6 quart could contain one.....
I had to put one in the fridge because I ran out of freezer space and I was panicking on what to do because I really didn't want to have a whole roast turkey all at once, and not sure if I even have room to freeze parts of it...
Then I remembered I have a folding bone saw thing for cutting open deer that I never used just packed away. Inexpensive, and worked awesome to cut that bad boy in half! (easiest down the ribs next to the sternum and backbone instead of through)
So, one half is roasting in the oven, the other is becoming soup in the crockpot. Using different flavors on them.. hopefully this will keep me interested as the week goes on...
